"..In this set I tell a little about my story,
what were the songs, the artists and the genres
that influenced me the most.
Mary Mary by Run Dmc for example is the first album
where I first heard Scratch
while Nirvana is my favorite Grunge/Rock band.
Daft Punk/ Justice / Boys Noize / Gesalffestein
To date, for me, they are the most innovative electronic music producers,
TroyBoi is currently my favorite producer.
For me, a DJ shouldn't be classified by genre.
but rather always propose something new like mush ups
between a piece of hip hop and house music for example.
The question I have never been able to answer is
“what genre do you play”? .."

Short bio
TY1Trap/Hip Hop/G-HouseTY1 is the most famous and talented DJ on the Italian hip hop scene, a scene he has been a protagonist of for over 20 years. From 1997, when he was crowned Italian DJ champion (winning his first ITF), through Alien Army, to collaborations with top Italian hip hop artists like Marrachash and Clementino, up until his latest solo LP, "Hardship" (2016 - Universal Music Italia), a work in which he experiments with electro-pop sounds with a more international flavour (see collaborations with artists of the calibre of Eamon and Sirah). Recently he has produced some new hits with Clementino and IZI and the Remix of "Giovane Fuoriclasse" by Capo Plaza. TY1's DJ sets span various musical horizons, intertwined in a unique and unmistakable way, linked by his mastery of the turntable, with the result of lighting up all types of dance floors, from clubs to festivals to squares.
